Marks Sattin are currently working with a global manufacturing business based in Leeds to assist in the recruitment of a Network Engineer. This is a new role in the Leeds office during an exciting time for the business, with interesting projects for the post holder to manage, the business is growing by acquisition and investing a lot of money.

Reporting to the IT Networks Manager, the Senior IT Networks Engineer will work to maintain, develop and deliver the I.T. Network Infrastructure across their European locations. You must ensure the various platforms are always available for the relevant userbase and issues are identified and rectified.

The Senior IT Networks Engineer will ensure that the network infrastructure platform is maintained, operational and patched. In addition, they will take an active and key role in the delivery of new projects and requirements for all areas and aspects of the operational estate.

The successful candidate will have experience in high availability eCommerce and critical operations systems. Experienced in Cisco switching platforms, supported by understanding of routing technologies and due to the varied nature of the technology supported a willingness to work on other Cisco technologies is essential. You will have worked heavily with Cisco firewall technologies from traditional ASA, through to new generation Firepower platforms as well as Cisco I.S.E deployments from inception to operational delivery. CCNP certified will be a minimum requirement.
