A global fund administrator is seeking a Payroll Analyst to join their team based in their offices in Dublin City centre.

The payroll team sits in the wider HR shared services team and comprises of 2 other team members, 1 Senior Associate and 1 Officer. You will be required to be at Officer Level and therefore would be expected to require minimal training.

The role is quite a fast paced, dealing with 2,700+ payrolls across 5 legal entities. There is a lot of exposure to financial services payroll which would be excellent experience for those who have not had exposure to this previously.

There is also interesting elements when dealing with Ex Pats and people who transfer locations, compensations package e.g. stocks and shares and how to administer those types of payrolls.

Duties will include:

  • Performing payroll calculations.
  • Accounting for appropriate taxes, holidays, illness, etc.
  • Preparing income tax reports including Tax Inspection, Pension Fund, and Social Insurance Fund.
  • Working with internal and external auditors as needed to ensure the integrity of payroll Information.
  • Providing a point of escalation for payroll and operations related queries to the GHR Service Centre.
  • Ensuring compliance and control risk within the Payroll function by continuous regular review of payroll procedures and conducting a self-audit on the monthly payroll.
  • Ability to work on process improvement projects.

The ideal candidate will have experience with Irish Payroll be IPASS qualified or the equivalent. You will be knowledgeable on Data Analytics i.e.: Pivots-V Lookup's and have experience with high volume payroll.
