Planning and Reporting Team Leader
Reporting into the Divisional Finance Manager, this opportunity will allow you to manage all aspects of reporting for the business.
You will coordinate, produce and report on the companies monthly management accounts. You will also contribute to board level financial reporting.
Role details:
Management Accounting
- Prepare management accounting
- Review of the consolidated management accounts and prepare commentary to support the key variances plan
- Support with the company integrate, including accruals and creating P&Ls
Business Planning
- Support with the coordination of the annual budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes
- Supporting Stakeholders with business planning processes including financial modelling
Reporting
- Completing analytical reviews of the monthly financial performance
- Assisting with the prep of weekly operational reports and monthly board reports
- Supervision of the MI team (2 x Analysts)
Skills required:
- Part or newly qualified accountant (IMA/ACA/ACCA or equivalent)
- Strong verbal and written skills
- Be at ease working with Senior Managers in the business
- Ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and be a strong influencer
- Experience supervising other team members looking to progress
- FP&A / MI experience
- Strong experience working with financial reporting systems
