My client a leading International Retailer are currently looking to recruit an experienced Pricing Manager to develop and deliver an exceptional framework to support forecasting & pricing capability and add on-going value to revenue management & optimisation through pricing decisions. You will be focused on the analysis of pricing elasticity's, bundles and demand forecasting to provide a clear insight into customer based pricing engagement. The role will involve the significant development of complex forecast demand modelling using appropriate predictive analytical techniques and be comfortable with statistical packages (e.g. SAS), database manipulation languages (e.g. SQL) and visualization software (e.g. Qlikview) The successful candidate will work with an external consultant to develop a pricing model for this business. You will ensure that the model developed is implemented effectively by developing robust processes and reporting structures within the Business to support the implementation of the pricing strategy. In order to be considered for this role you will have three years + pricing or revenue management experience with experience of implementing pricing strategies. You will have a personal motivation and enthusiasm to work in dynamic, highly commercial business environment. Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with experience of managing and manipulating data in a commercial environment. In addition to high level of competence in the use of PC-based applications (advanced Excel, VBA), advanced user of statistical packages (e.g. SAS), database manipulation languages (e.g. SQL) and visualization software (e.g. Qlikview) You will be able to exploit available data to maximize the yield of useful information and recognize the commercial significance of market events and trends.
