Start your job searchA rapidly growing Private Equity backed business are looking for an experienced Programme Manager to lead a portfolio of change projects to modernise their back office. This will be an initial 9 month contract based in their central London head office. The business have grown exponentially over the last 5 years and are currently undergoing a number of system and process change projects to improve the efficiency of their back office functions. The portfolio of projects will impact finance, IT, supply chain, operations and HR and the ideal candidate should have extensive experience in each of these functions. The responsibilities of the role will include:
- Responsible for creating programme status reports and updates for programme management and contributes to steering committee reports
- Tracking and communicating project performance against plans, including project activities, budgets and deliverables to
- Review and finalise project timing and plan, scope and objectives.
- Manage the project budget and costs.
- Manage and coordinate all PMO activities including project plans (MSP), risk logs, action trackers using best practice methodologies and tools
- Managing and reporting on risks and issues
- Contributing to the business process and change management
- Run internal meetings with Project Managers and the project teams.
- Liaise with and manage external vendors, including selection, contracting, and delivery.
- Responsible for monitoring and challenging workstreams on progress and project performance
To be considered you should hold a formal Project Management qualification and have extensive experience managing cross functional PMOs in large international organisations. You will have end to end project delivery experience as part of complex technology enabled transformations; including, ERP implementations and process re-engineering programmes. Excellent communication and the ability to influence and build strong relationships with senior stakeholders are essential.
