Project Manager - Trading / Markets - £80k to £100k

A global Financial Services organisation is currently looking to hire a Project Manager with extensive experience of Trading environments to deliver development & application initiatives across the whole of their European and US business.

Based in Canary Wharf, the main remit of the role will be to facilitate meetings with the business to gather requirements and ensure that the projects are completed through the global development teams.

Responsibilities

  • Involved in delivery, requirements gathering, system design, development, testing, implementation and production support
  • Ensure that the development is completed through the global development teams, based in India.
  • Review technical documentation produced by the development team
  • Demonstrate platform and business product knowledge to define standards and technology roadmaps that meet business needs
  • Liaise with stakeholders and sponsors to ensure work is progressed and delivered in a timely manner

Skills

  • Extensive IT Project Management experience with an emphasis on the financial services sector and AGILE frameworks
  • Working knowledge of trading systems such as Murex/WSS/ION etc. as well as upstream interfacing from cross-asset pricing and trading platforms (STP)
  • Experience of back office systems including payments processing
  • Proven track record of successful application development project delivery
  • Focus on experience of engaging with key stakeholders to gather requirements, facilitate meetings and deliver development & application projects
