A leading FTSE organisation based in London's west end are currently looking for a Project Support Officer (PSO) to join their transformation team. This will initially be on a 6 month rolling contract basis as the project is expected to run for around 18 months. The business is currently going through a large ERP implementation that will impact all business functions. The role of the PSO will be to support the Programme Manager and coordinate all project activities and be responsible for:

  • Championing an agile way of working with Tiger Team and SMEs
  • Implementing governance standards across the Transformation programme
  • Coordinating project meetings, taking and distributing comprehensive minutes and follow up actions
  • Managing programme status reporting, including relevant scorecards (e.g. Risks, Assumptions, Issues and Dependencies (RAID) register, budget variance analysis, scope, resource and milestone change logs)
  • Monitoring KPI reporting and tracking programme objectives, benefits and checkpoints
  • Tracking stakeholder engagement and progressing business communication strategy
  • Ensuring completeness and currency of programme documentation
  • Promoting best practice programme management

Ideally you will have between 3-5 years relevant experience working within a complex project environment ideally in a large matrix organisation ideally as a Project Coordinator or Project support analyst. You must also be a strong communicator with a methodological approach that is able to convey complex information in a concise and understandable manner. Exposure to Confluence, Jira or sharepoint is essential. As is the ability to build relationships and interact with senior stakeholders across the organisation.
