Start your job searchWe are recruiting for a rapidly expanding business in North Birmingham who are looking to bolster their Transactional Finance team with an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk.
This role is to provide a professional and efficient service to the finance team, monitoring how much is owed at all times and providing accurate financial information directly to the Finance Manager.
Your duties will include:
- Processing all purchase invoices on a timely basis
- Ensure purchase orders are appropriately approved
- Reconcile bank/statements and investigate any differences
- Payment runs
- Reconciling ledger accounts
- Handling Customer queries
- Working closely with other departments within the business to resolve invoicing queries
The ideal candidate for this role:
- Previous experience in a similar role 2+ years
- Experience dealing with high volume
- Good Excel skills
