Start your job searchReporting to the Head of Regulatory Reporting, the Regulatory Reporting Accountant will have responsibility to maintain an accurate and timely regulatory reporting function and analysing the detailed compliance requirements as necessary. In addition to this you will assist the Bank in providing the supporting financial information to support the relevant aspects of liquidity and capital risk management. This will comprise of reporting to the PRA, BoE and EBA.
Your requirements will include:
- Analysing and interpreting data from source banking and derivative systems for inclusion in the bank's regulatory submissions (Lombard Risk/STB)
- Ensuring that reports are completed in line with UK Generally Accepted Accounting Practice (UK GAAP) as adjusted for IFRS and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
- Maintaining control over system parameters to ensure that uploads into FCA's /PRA's GABRIEL reporting portal is carried out in a consistent, reliable and timely manner
- To maintain daily monitoring of regulatory compliance ie large exposures, liquidity and capital adequacy
- Monitor developments on the Financial Conduct Authority's website and track key changes in GENPRU / BIPRU and - CRR requirements
- Provide reliable metrics for bank's stress testing model on both liquidity and capital and to provide input into the bank's Individual Liquidity Adequacy Assessment Process (ILAAP) and Individual Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (ICAAP)
Your Requirements
- Strong knowledge of Regulatory requirements particularly with COREP
- Strong accounting knowledge including UK GAAP and IFRS
- Extensive knowledge of Basel/CRD IV rules and implementation protocols for UK regulations
