A boutique luxury cosmetics company located in Central London is looking for a Senior Accountant to join ASAP for a 12 month FTC.

You will be responsible for:

• Monthly net sales commentary by channel for UK;
• Overseing UK entity financial statements;
• Owning SOX implementation and compliance in UK;
• Liaison and first line of communication with external accountant;
• First level reviewer of UK trial balance;
• Assisting with completion of monthly reporting templates for UK entity;
• Overseeing approval of new vendors, new customers, master data within Quickbooks;
• Coordinating with tax team regarding sales tax and income tax;
• Overseeing retail accounting for UK, including sales reconciliations, sales tax reporting, opening/management of merchant services, cash controls/collection, etc;
• Overseeing French Entity accounting operations;
• Preparing quarterly accounting package for UK entity;
• Other ad hoc tasks may also be required.

Strong Excel, and prior knowlege of Quickbooks would be highly desirable. A background in retail would be most advantgeous, particularly within fashion/beauty/luxury goods/cosmetics, though this is not essential.
