Senior Business Analyst - Migration - Private Bank

A London based Private Bank is currently recruiting a Senior Business Analyst to join their esteemed organisation. The role will be joining an established team in a high profile migration programme that will take place over the next 12 -18 months.

The candidate responsibilities include:

  • Provide specialist knowledge and support to project teams to shape business development and resolve business issues.
  • Ensure that own knowledge is up to date and is reflective of best practice.
  • Responsible for investigating and analysing business activities and processes and looking to improve there efficiency.
  • Using business consulting skills, to help diagnose the issues the project needs to address (including managing research) and consider options/ solutions required.
  • Establish quick rapport and trust with project stakeholders, building early project momentum, demanding high standards and service levels from the onset and throughout.
  • Timely and accurate progress reporting to aligned project manager.
  • Ensure there are no brand/ reputational risks as a result of activities responsible for.
  • Escalate identified risks in accordance with internal governance processes and controls, creating a culture that continually probes, debates and identifies solutions/ mitigating actions for issues and risks.

The skills set and experience required:

  • Experienced business analysis within the Private Banking or Wealth Management sector.
  • Highly experienced in business focussed migration programmes ideally customer centric.(please not we are not looking for technical migration experience).
  • Strong technical skills of relevant IT systems, (e.g. MS Access, Excel, Visio).
  • Excellent understanding of change methodologies and frameworks.
  • Strong change analysis and delivery skills (e.g. root cause analysis, options analysis etc.) and continuous improvement skills (LEAN, 6-Sigma etc).
  • Clear, high impact, concise communication to a senior management level audience (written and verbal), to influence and gain support for proposals
