Marks Sattin are currently working with a York based retail business to assist in the recruitment of a Senior BI Developer. They are growing their BI team due to a demand across the business for insight. This is a Senior role and you will be responsible for developing and maintaining data & reporting solutions.

Responsibilities;

• Design & development of the data warehouse.
• Design & development of the ETL processes.
• Front end reporting using IBM Cognos.
• Exploring new technologies to improve business systems.

Skills;

• Team work - interaction with the wider BI team (developers, quality assurance, business analysts & database administrators)
• Commercial experience of designing, implementing & maintaining architecture data warehouses.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL.
• Experience of relational databases in an ETL context.
• Ideally experience of; MySQL, SQL server & Oracle.
