THE ROLE AND TEAM
An excellent opportunity to join a professional service firm based in their exquisite offices in Central London.
My client is looking for an experienced developer ready to take on their next challenge in leading two influential departments - Digital and Innovation and Operational IT. You'll deliver business transformation across the organisation - prototyping, piloting, development and scaling. You will have the opportunity to work closely alongside suppliers, stakeholders and team members, integrating new ideas seamlessly into existing solutions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As the Senior Developer you'll implement new and emerging technologies to drive efficiency and improvement across the business. By focusing on innovation, you will play a key role in building and delivering a balanced portfolio of strategic and tactical digital projects. With the leadership skills to coach and develop others, you will share knowledge, shape best practise and encourage innovative thinking. You will also:
- Manage responsibility of a small team of developers and one UX/UI designer
- Build, maintain and support both enterprise and client facing applications
- Scan and leverage cross-industry trends in new & emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning and data science to apply in the context of accountancy and professional services
- Collaborate with Business Relationship Managers and Solution Designers to turn concepts into practical solutions for relevant business challenges
REQUIREMENTS
You have a proven track record of successfully building and delivering digital products to market. You're experienced in cloud platforms, authentication, access and identity management technology. Your degree is in Computer Science, and since then you've acquired significant experience and expertise in complex development work. You also have:
- Key Development skillsets, such as, C#, .NET platform, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, Azure PaaS (Azure Functions; Azure Logic Apps; Cosmos DB; Azure App Service; ARM templates), SharePoint and React
- Experience with Office 365 including PowerApps, Flow; SharePoint Online
- Experienced in agile software development - scrum master certified or equivalent
- Experience building fin-tech and reg-tech products advantageous
