I am currently working with one of the largest and well known media businesses worldwide who are looking for Senior Finance Analyst to join their FP&A team in their central London offices for a 12 month contract covering maternity leave. They have a number of brands within the business and this role will be focusing on one of the brands and ensuring that all reporting and budgeting & forecasting models are up to date and robust. The role reports to the Head of FP&A and requires previous experience working with Anaplan.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with financial planning & analysis and commercial projects across global business
• Help to manage the annual budget and quarterly forecasting cycle including ownership of the title budgeting model and global consolidation in Anaplan, ensuring models are up to date and robust
• Assist in the preparation of the global budgeting and forecasting packs for presentation to the board
• 3 year plan - assist in preparing the 3 year plan, including a review of targets and individual title appraisals
• Preparation of the monthly KPIs and Exec pack
• Ad hoc analysis as required for the Head of Planning & Reporting, Heads of Commercial Finance and Senior Leadership team

Key Skills

• Degree qualified (2:1 minimum)
• Qualified ACA/CIMA/ACCA
• Must have knowledge of Anaplan
• Ability to analyse, evaluate and clearly report financial data
• Strong attention to detail
• Commercial awareness - the ability to see the broad perspective
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent Excel skills
• Knowledge of Business Objects / SAP/ Hyperion an advantage
