My client is a global leading Fund and Corporate services provider based in the City of London. They are looking for a Senior Fund Accountant to start ASAP on an initial 6 month contract with the possibility of a permanent role at the end of the contract period.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Preparation of management accounts for SPV's & closed ended funds
• Preparation of annual financial statements under UK GAAP and IFRS
• Liaising with auditors
• VAT returns
• Quarterly NAV calculations
• Consolidation (including subsidiaries reporting in foreign currencies)

This role deals directly with senior members of the business internally and with external clients so you must have experience of and be comfortable with liaising at this level on a regular basis.

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA or equivalent) with Fund Accounting experience gained ideally from within Investment Management.

A history of streamlining and improving processes and procedures as well as working with SPV's would be highly valued. In return, you will be working in a friendly and collegiate environment that rewards hard work and will develop your career.
