Well known Global Asset Management business with £50bn in AUM urgently seeks a new Fund Accountant for their pioneering range of debt and credit products. Their fund accounting and middle office team has grown quickly from one person a few years ago to now eight people. This particular role would focus on all accounting and analysis for a numbers of funds structured as partnerships, SICAVs, CLOs and separately managed accounts.

Responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing the month end close of the portfolio including pricing (NAV), management/performance fee calculations, fund expenses, reconciling between custodian and in house records etc..
• Co-ordinating draw downs and distributions
• Calculating fund and client specific performance analysis
• Oversee all relevant financial reporting for fund entities
• Manage the annual statutory audits
• Prepare a variety of ad hoc reports for clients
• Ad hoc project work as required

Your background:

• A recently qualified accountant or finalist or equivalent
• A background in accounting for similar structures, likely to have been gained in a hedge fund, fixed income asset manager or third party administrator
• Proven investment accounting experience with an understanding of how to calculate a NAV through to preparing fund financial statements
• Plenty of personality, drive and initiative; able to build up relationships with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders
