Job Title: Senior Fund Accountant X 2 | Dublin | Permanent | Fund Services | 40-45k per year

The Senior Fund Accountant is responsible for the validation and release of hedge fund NAV's. They are responsible for ensuring that all checks and controls have been performed on various valuations. This is an excellent opportunity for growth and there is massive potential for career progression within the firm. You will be reporting into the Fund Accounting Team Leader.

Responsibilities:

• Re-evaluate fund NAVs on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
• Check fund transactions
• Monitor all income accruals and corporate actions
• Re-examine all foreign exchange contracts
• Reconsider price movements
• Adherence to client agreed NAV delivery deadlines
• Approval and sending of fund invoices
• NAV impact analysis and justification
• Monitoring all cash and security reconciliation items on a daily basis
• Ensuring all agreed reporting is completed & sent to the client
• Attendance and participation in team / departmental meetings
• Ensure any information required by the Auditors or Trustees is available within the timeframe agreed with your Team Leader
• Assist and train other team members
• Thorough knowledge of hedge fund types
• Support with the further development of the fund accounting process and systems
• Review fund operating documents, prospectus, pricing policy and agreements

Requirements:

• A minimum of 2-3 years Fund Accounting experience, ideally a fund accounting supervisor or fund accounting supervisory experience is essential
• A thorough knowledge of Hedge Fund accounting, including interaction with Prime Brokers and Middle Office.
• Excellent communication skills
• A third level qualification preferably in a business or accounting related discipline is essential
• Good time management and interpersonal skills.
