FTSE 100 media business based in Central London is currently recruiting for a Senior Group Financial Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant looking to work for a global business with a presence in over 40 countries.

Reporting into the Group Finance Manager your main responsibilities would include acquisition accounting and liaising with Corporate Finance and local share service centres; preparation and effective control of the production and review of the Annual and Half Year report; review of technical accounting developments under IFRS ensuring new developments are communicated throughout the Group and embedded into management and statutory reporting as necessary.; driving improvements in group processes and controls.

The successful candidate will be ACA qualified (ideally from a Top 10 practise) with a couple of year post-qualified experience or a candidate from a large Plc with relevant experience.
