Start your job searchThe key accountabilities are:
· Ensuring that the strategic aims of the region are aligned with deals proposed to clients which will aim to attract these clients into entering into longer term volume agreements.
· Ensuring the common evaluation models are understandable and compliance with policy is maintained when deals are submitted for approval.
· Participating in resolution of financial structure and contractual issues.
· Performing reviews of the deals submitted to London for approval.
· Preparing analysis and reports on overall incentive contract portfolio performance and returns as required.
· Indentifying and communicating business issues and opportunities for improvements.
· Preparing presentation documents and assisting in presenting findings to all levels of management
· Preparing budgets and forecasts of deal P&L impacts over a 1-5 year period.
The successful candidate must therefore have:
· Previous experience in client incentives and pricing
· Previous experience in Financial transactions analysis
· Excellent Excel skills and data manipulation
· An understanding of complex accounting requirements
· Proven track record within pricing and analysis of revenue drivers, as well as cost driver and cost allocations.
Furthermore, an exceptional understanding and knowledge of financial modelling and analysis, and excellent communication, analytical, numerical and problem solving skills are essential.
Ideally, the candidate will come from a relevant top tier corporation within the relevant industries:
· Consulting/Strategy
· Bankcard/payments
· Commercial banking
· Investment banking
· Consumer products/retailing
Strong commercial acumen, the ability to constructively challenge proposals and an education to a degree level with- and accounting /finance professional qualification are required.
