A reputable and well established Private Equity firm is looking for a driven, motivated, results focused senior group management accountant to join their multinational investment team. This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to utilise their existing skills whilst acquiring an understanding of the structure and business model of a private equity firm within a stable multinational firm.

Responsibilities Include:

• Supervising and supporting the team with month end management accounting.
• Preparing monthly board packs which include P&L, balance sheet, cash flow forecasts, scenario planning and other ad hoc analysis.
• Leading the group's cash management with a focus on FX transactions, maximising returns on surplus cash and ensuring group entity has sufficient cash to cover its upcoming expenses.
• Supervising the preparation of monthly departmental reports and attend meetings with department heads to review their monthly spend vs budget.
• Supervising the annual budget process, supporting the team in preparing 3 year budgets for each department and preparing reports and analysis for the COO.
• Managing the fundraising cost report.
• Taking a leading role during the annual audit and liaising with auditors.
• Overseeing regular tasks performed by the accounts payable and management teams.

The ideal candidate for this role will be an analytical, results driven accountant with a keen eye for detail. You will also need to be ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified with strong excel skills including building, developing and managing complex models. It is desirable that you have experience of monthly management accounting including preparation of board documents.
