Marks Sattin are pleased to be partnering with a progressive Real Estate development business based in London to find a Management Accountant, the role requires a confident candidate who can act as a number 2 within the business, directly reporting into the CFO

The responsibilities of the role will include,

• Monthly Management and consolidation; including depreciation journals, prepayment accruals etc.
• Balance sheet reconciliations including WIP/project and inter-company reconciliation
• AD-HOC reports and analysis
• Liaising with auditors, answering audit queries, preparing audit file with lead audit schedules and supporting documents
• VAT returns, Handling HMRC queries and registration of new companies for VAT
• CITB annual returns
• Bank reconciliation, including updating cash book and preparing weekly payment reports to the directors

the ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and achievements

• Qualified accountant (ACA,ACCA or CIMA), at least 2 years PQE
• Previous experience within a Real Estate or Construction business
• Ability to communicate to a high level and with non-financial colleagues
• Strong knowledge of SAGE Line 50 is key
