SENIOR PAYMENTS/BANKING ASSISTANT - With a solid grounding in accounts payable and cashiering, you will be keen to move to a more challenging role, where you can further develop your career.
Working within one of Europe's largest and fastest growing distribution organisations, and reporting directly in to the Head of Department, this is a newly created role in line with planned business growth and systems implementations. You will not shy away from change, and will be able to in an environment where the ability to influence and communicate effectively is absolutely key. On a daily basis you will be:
- Assisting the Head of Department in new processes and systems implementation
- Leading payment processes, and leading from the front, and by example
- Leading data cleansing projects, and assisting with a new treasury and banking system implementation
- Looking at ways in which to reducing possible fraudulent transactions
- Driving continuous improvement
- Driving all processing of transactions and co-ordinating payment runs via BACS, Chaps and international payments including SWISS
- Assisting in reporting on daily cash figures and assisting in month end procedures
