Start your job searchMy client is a private bank based in London who are looking for a Senior Compliance Officer/Manager to join their team.
This role will have two main functions - the first will be to advise HNWI's, wealth planners and discretionary wealth managers on matters relating to portfolio management. Therefore, you will need good product knowledge relating to HNWI's for example, OEICS, EIS's etc.
The successful candidate will be liaising with clients so needs to be very confidant in their abilities and comfortable liaising at that level.
The second part of the role will be helping to formulate policy.
You will also need to have a good understanding of the regulatory environment and new developments including MiFiD II as well as regulatory knowledge covering COBS and CASS (other sourcebooks a distinct advantage).
Ideally, the successful candidate will have at least 8+ years of experience within Private Banking or Investment Management. Someone from a large bank with experience solely in financial crime will not be suitable for this role.
A relevant qualification in Investment or Compliance is a must (CISI/CII or equivalent) to at least level 6. The CISI Diploma in Compliance is certified as a Level 6 qualification. This is non-negotiable.
There is a fantastic benefits package with this particular role along with the opportunity to develop and progress your career. It is a very exciting opportunity.
I look forward to receiving you application.
