Site Management Accountant - Manufacturing

Position: Management Accountant

Salary: Up to £40,000 plus ACCA/CIMA study support plus company benefit package

Location: Manchester

Reporting to: Financial Controller

Main duties:

• Assist cost centre managers in the controlling of costs within their cost centres.

• Building efficient and effective working relationships with stakeholder

• Produce management accounts, variance analysis and reports

• Ensuring accounts are produced accurately, with proper controls particularly with regards to Balance Sheet reconciliations

• Budgeting and Forecasting

• Review and setting up standard costs for new products

• Supporting with year end audits

• Assisting with production of innovative and insightful analysis

• Ensure controls over bank payments and processing are maintained and managed effectively

• Maintain daily cash and treasury information, producing weekly and monthly reports

• Manage preparation of quarterly VAT

Requirements

• Must have On Site Manufacturing accounting experience

• Part qualified ACCA, CIMA, QBE or ACA

• Experience working with a Accounting and Finance environment

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Good numeracy Skills

• Ability to work within a team

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
