Leading investment business based in Central London is currently recruiting for a Statutory Reporting Accountant. This newly created position would suit a qualified accountant with post qualified experience within a group financial reporting team.

Reporting into the Head of Statutory Reporting you will be responsible for assisting with the production of the group consolidation and statutory financial statements for over 50 entities; assist with managing external audits and deliver audited accounts on time; document and maintain controls, processes and procedures; working closely with the management accounts and investment teams to prepare key board papers; assist with reviewing existing accounting and consolidation systems and with implementing changes as required; assist with ad-hoc projects as required.

The successful candidate would be a qualified accountant with significant post qualified experience in group consolidations and the production of statutory accounts under FRS102. Experience of Cognos would be advantageous.
