Marks Sattin are working with one of the best known Independent firms in Leeds city centre. They are looking for an experienced Tax Advisor to join their growing firm.

The Role: Tax Advisor

• Support the Tax Director in dealing with advisory projects and dealing with HMRC enquiries.
• Report directly to the Tax Director, Partner group and occasionally directly to clients.
• The successful candidate would be dealing with complex and wide ranging advice over various taxes, and the interconnected impacts thereon. Examples of the type of work the candidate would be exposed to is:
• Overseas residency advice
• Company mergers/demergers
• Company acquisitions and sales
• Property Transactions
• Complex HMRC enquiries
• Inheritance Tax planning
• Tax mitigation strategies
• Any candidate would need to have confidence in working under their own initiative and be a good communicator.
• Able to work as part of a team and be used to working for multiple Partners simultaneously.

Candidate Requirements:

• CTA qualified
• 3-4 year relevant tax experience
• Excellent communicator
• Good use of computer programmes (specifically Excel)
