A leading hospitality business based in West London with a property portfolio of over 50 sites is currently recruiting for a Tax Manager to join their team. Having undergone significant expansion over the past year (doubled their portfolio), this is a newly created position and will suit someone looking to set up their own team.

The role will lead and manage all tax compliance of the UK group. The role will reporting into the FD and CFO and will be responsible for complete oversight of a full range of tax services in compliance with laws and regulations with a primary focus of Corporation Tax (but will also include Income Tax, VAT and SDLT); prepare and submit all tax returns; accurate recording of all tax related costs; primary point of contact for all tax related queries; reporting of VAT; developing strategy and processes to drive good tax practices.

You will be a qualified accountant; in addition in-house experience working in Tax would be ideal, but you could also be looking for your first move out of practice. This is a new role, so you must be a self-starter and have the ability to work independently. Excellent communication skills are essential as you will be in constant contact with internal and external stakeholders.
