A Manchester city centre practice are looking for a Tax Manager to join their team due to a recent acquisition and huge period of expansion. It is a combined compliance and advisory role and the successful candidate will be responsible for Corporate Tax compliance and advisory work for a range of Owner Managed Businesses. You would be responsible for Personal Tax compliance and advisory work for Sole Traders and High Net Worth Individuals.

Main responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Profitably manage taxation services provided by the firm
• Build a personal portfolio to assist in the expansion of the client base
• Providing a complete tax compliance process for a varied portfolio of high net worth individuals and owner managed businesses
• Provide a high level of Tax Planning & Advisory services to clients
• Manage the tax returns process, initially including responsibility for the preparation, supervision and submission of corporate tax computations and personal tax returns
• Develop the tax department within the firm
• Manage and develop client relationships and communicate directly with them regarding tax compliance matters
