Excellent Opportunity - Leading FTSE organisation requires experienced 3^rd Line Technical Support Analyst / 3^rd Line Technical Support Engineer.

‒ You will be responsible for reliability, availability & performance of company IT Systems, IT Infrastructure & continual improvement

‒ You will support, maintain, enhance & provide program of improvement for technical systems infrastructure to high standards, with input to overall design & strategy of company IT systems infrastructure

The role is integral to this FTSE retail business & will also involve liaison & management of third party suppliers as well as in-house staff. This successful business continues to grow & expand as they are look to open a significant number of new retail outlets - this a great opportunity

Expertise & Responsibilities

• Extensive experience as 3^rd Line Technical Analyst, 3^rd Line Technical Engineer, 3^rd Line Technical Support Analyst, 3^rd Line Technical Support Engineer or similar
• Extensive 3^rd line IT support experience with focus on 'Wintel' technologies, VMWARE and a broad range of IT infrastructure technologies, servers, switches, routers, firewalls, Aruba WiFi, NetApp SAN, SQL, & Microsoft Azure
• Comprehensive experience & knowledge of the following technologies; VMWARE, Microsoft Servers, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Exchange, Remote Desktop Services, Microsoft SQL, Microsoft Office, RSA, NetApp SAN, switches and Aruba WiFi and networking
• Responsible for reliability, availability & performance of company IT Systems, IT Infrastructure & continual improvement
• Responsible for data security, backups, systems security & systems access controls
• Technical project management experience to complete projects on time & within budget while ensuring the highest quality of service.
• Assess options, work alongside IT, operational & business teams, new & existing suppliers, to create & own the overall solution & have this delivering to the business.
• Investigate, understand & promote potential business benefits to be achieved in the application of technology, contributing to the overall design & strategy of company IT systems infrastructure.
• Provide guidance & support to 1^st & 2^nd line technical support analysts.
• Excellent communication & written skills with internal business customers, executives & external suppliers
