My client in Leeds is looking for support for their Finance team for a temporary period of time. Ideally 2-3 months only, the support will focus upon Balance Sheet and Complex reconciliations.

The client is a large market leader in its sector, with a large Finance team just outside of the city centre. The business is professional and innovative, yet the team (Finance and wider disciplines) are friendly, hard working and personable.

The role will include the following duties:

• Managing and being responsible for the balance sheet,
• Escalating queries and anomalies where appropriate,
• Strong excel manipulation and navigation through the existing balance sheet,
• Downloading data / extracting data / data mining,
• Working on the reconciliation (pulling information together),
• Meticulous and conscientious working,

Ideal person will be:

• Immediately available,
• Familiar with balance sheet projects,
• Strong excel - necessary (Pivots),
• Able to pass a technical test (excel knowledge),
• Able to travel to the outskirts of Leeds,
• Strong with detail / meticulous,
• Team player,
• Good with project work and working alone,
