My client a international mid-market Private equity firm is looking for a 2016/2017 bright graduate for a unique Trainee Fund Accountant position.

The ideal candidate will be seeking to qualify either with an ACCA or CIMA qualification with some experience in preparation of accounts, good interpersonal skills, able to multi-task and prepared to help 'muck-in' and get the job done.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Entering invoices into the accounting system to ensure the purchase ledger is kept up to date.
• Preparation of drawdowns & distributions for the funds
• Assisting with the preparation of quarterly and ad hoc reports
• Setting up payments on the banking system
• Bank reconciliation, posting and balancing
• As experience increases take on sole responsibility for aspects of one or more of the Bregal funds
• Working with the portfolio management team to assist with the upload of investment movements in the quarter
• Assisting with the year-end audits
• Other ad hoc tasks
