Start your job searchA new opportunity has arisen for a fully qualified Finance Manager to join a leading technology business in The East Riding of Yorkshire.
The role is a UK Finance Manager reporting into the Financial Controller.
Key responsibilities
Reporting into the Financial Controller this role is responsible for the general ledger and balance sheet management, transaction integrity, all fiscal and regulatory compliance, statutory accounts and operational treasury management for the business.
- Manage the general ledger
- Manage and develop a team of 4
- Ensure the transactional integrity of the UK financial ledgers
- Manage the monthly management reporting process ensuring transactional accuracy and delivery in line with reporting deadlines
- Ensure annual statutory reporting is accurate and delivered in line with reporting deadlines
- Ensure compliance with VAT, CIS and statistical reporting, liaising external advisors to resolve issues
- Responsible for the annual budget and quarterly reforecasting of the UK balance sheet an cashflow
Requirements
- A qualified accountant with experience of operating in a large complex organisation
- Experience working in the manufacturing business is essential
- Good understanding of accounting for foreign currencies
- Strong IT skills including advanced Excel
- A good communicator, able to work with teams and influence well
