Marks Sattin Executive Search has a fantastic opportunity for a UK Head of Finance (autonomous no 1) to join a PE backed B2B Consultancy business, to be part of the leadership team, providing support, information and analysis to country and group management.

Reporting to the senior management team, this is a key position within the business involving managing an outsourced finance function, whilst liaising closely with external advisers to produce monthly and statutory reporting

We are seeking a strong leader, adaptable and hungry for growth; with support of a small team, the Head of Finance will manage all day to day financial aspects for the UK, including key KPIs and performance against budget and plan with input from key stakeholders in the business; maintain rolling forecasts, through revenue pipeline and ability to appraise its contents.

Through incisive commercial acumen and strong leadership skills, you will spread a culture of commercial awareness and ability to add value in a wider non-finance meeting.

This role is suitable for a candidate looking to break into an autonomous number 1 role, in a private equity-backed business.

They operate on a flexible hybrid working week, with 2 days a week expected in the office.

The ideal candidate:

• A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, ACMA)
• Experience within a Professional Services, Consultancy, B2B and or related sectors, preferably but not essentially in an International business
• Have managed the annual budgeting process and obtained appropriate input from key stakeholders in the business
• Experienced in managing a small finance team
• Outstanding leadership, communication and presentational skills
