VAT Accountant / South Manchester / £30,000 - £32,000 / Permanent

A market leading business in South Manchester is recruiting a VAT Accountant. This is an exciting opportunity as you will be working in a new entity within the business. VAT Accountant duties:

• Preparation, validation and submission of both UK and international VAT returns
• VAT accounting on general ledger
• Balance Sheet reconciliations
• Monthly Intrastat reporting
• Improving VAT processes and efficiencies
• Developing strong relationships with VAT stakeholders

VAT Accountant requirements:

• Experience in VAT Accounting
• Part-qualified in a professional Accountancy Qualification
• Intermediate Excel skills
• Strong communication skills
• High level of attention to detail
