As a Credit Underwriter you will assess new lending applications for quality, credit risk, and adherence with the bank's policies and lending appetite whilst giving a market leading service to the Bank's customers and stakeholders.

The responsibilities for Credit Controller will be as follows:

• evaluate financial information and risks prior to granting loans to businesses or individuals

• Analyse credit data and financial statements to determine the degree of risk involved in extending credit or lending money
• Assessing, analysing and interpreting complicated financial information
• Undertaking creditworthiness analysis based on various financial and non-financial information

Core Skills and Competencies

• Organised, meticulous, prepared to take ownership of tasks, able to manage their own time, pro-active and able to follow tasks through to completion
• The ability to work under pressure and to tight time frames is paramount
• Sound awareness of market landscape, competitors and relevant instruments within the market
