Our client is a privately owned e-commerce retail, wholesale and distribution business and are seeking a charismatic and experienced FD to join the team and guide this successful founder led business through a transition, change and continued growth.

As FD, you will be required to professionalise and streamline the finance function within a growing environment. In this fast paced environment, as FD you must be prepared to take on a broad range of responsibilities, from long term strategic direction, to hands-on refinement of processes, as well as have strong commercial skills. You will be the right hand person to the CEO and an instrumental part of the business. The FD will bring significant retail/wholesale/distribution experience across a number of avenues and have an ambition to prove yourself as a crucial board member developing company-wide strategy.

The ideal candidate will:

• Be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACMA, ACCA)
• Have relevant industry experience as an Autonomous FD in an SME
• Communicate effectively and as a leader within the business be expected to work effectively and inspire others in a fast paced and challenging environment.
• Ideally have experience of taking a business through significant change
