A city based investment bank are recruiting for an experienced market risk candidate to join their team. Reporting to the Head of Market Risk, this person is responsible for backfilling for existing BAU resources to enable them to participate in the business requirements, testing and implementation activities of the Market Risk project.



The successful candidate will be responsible for

· Maintaining close and effective working relationships with the relevant Market Risk team members including Calypso resources.

· Backfilling as required for Market Risk BAU team.



Key Competencies & Qualifications

· Significant experience in Market Risk.

· Strong technical knowledge in market risk framework and modelling techniques

· In depth knowledge of financial products (valuation and risk management techniques)

· Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills

· Excellent communication and leadership skills



The successful candidate will be offered an initial 6 month contract with potential for extension.
