Are you a technically experienced payroll administrator looking to take a step up in their career? Or maybe someone who ready for their next challenge in Payroll.

I'm looking for someone who has the drive and ambition to hit the ground running in a challenging but rewarding environment.

Where you fit in…

You'll be joining a developing business within a role that offers flexibility in your approach and method of working.

Your role:

  • Process monthly payroll; including starters, leavers, contract changes, tax code changes, attachment of earnings and annual cost of living and incremental pay increases.
  • To prepare and apply maternity, paternity, statutory sick and holiday pay calculations together with salary sacrifice schemes.
  • To import payroll data in the Accounting System and to reconcile all payroll transactions to the nominal ledger
  • To monitor sickness records
  • To be the first contact for all staff payroll queries
  • To support the HR, Payroll & Business Support Manager with all payroll, administration tasks and project work when required.

What you need?

You'll need to be the kind of person that can work as part of team and work automatously in payroll and HR environment. Organisation with exceptional attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure and to keep to tight deadlines is a must. You'll have detailed knowledge of payroll systems, taxation and national insurance and pension's administration with the ability to prepare and submit monthly and annual returns to HMRC.

A recognised payroll qualification would be an advantage but not essential
