Product Owner/ Business analyst - up to £50,000

An exciting start-up is looking to hire a Product Owner / Business Analyst be based at its offices in Horsham.

They are looking to launch a SIPP (Self-invested personal pension) platform and the main remit of the role will be to work closely with Project Managers and Operations Managers on a daily basis to deliver change, ensuring that the best software solutions are implemented.

Working on all change projects, the Product Owner / Business Analyst will also be responsible for for setting, prioritising, and evaluating the work generated by a software Scrum team in order to ensure impeccable features and functionality of the product.

The client is looking for candidates who are interested in technology with a passion to deliver cutting edge products and the successful candidate will ideally come from a financial services background, pensions experience ideally SIPP's and Tax Wrappers.

Responsibilities

  • Working closely with Analysts, Scrum Teams and Product Owners to ensure timely and quality-driven delivery of all Pension related developments.
  • Taking ownership of management information, reporting and data quality
  • Define product vision, road-map and growth opportunities
  • Take lead of scrum teams as the Product Owner
  • Providing vision and direction to the Agile development team and stakeholders throughout the project and create requirements
  • Plan and prioritize product feature backlog and development for the product
  • Working with our key stakeholders to understand, plan and document the roadmap and keep it relevant. Stakeholders include: Internal business stakeholders, existing clients and new clients.

Skills:

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent, (ideally in Computer Science, Engineering or similar field).
  • Pensions experience, ideally SIPP's and Tax Wrappers
  • Financial services experience
  • Professional Business Analyst Qualifications (e.g. ISEB, Agile Practitioner).
  • SQL experience
