The purpose of the Financial Business Partner role

Work with the group FP&A team to manage the financial modelling and analysis of strategic investments and you will work with the relevant finance teams to report and manage costs across your business areas.

The key responsibilities of the Finance Business Partner role:

• Business partnering with key internal stakeholders
• Managing the preparation of the monthly management accounts and reporting packs on Agent Technology and Organisational Design with the UK Finance team
• Responsible for all budget & forecast processes across your areas
• Liaising closely with in-country finance teams and other relevant central functions such as Group FPA to ensure that project activities are co-ordinated and actioned effectively
• Presenting management account analysis, particularly around cost and benefits to the senior team (finance and non-finance)
• Ensuring effective and regular communication of project proposals and progress reports to senior management, obtaining guidance and approval as required to advance activities and resolve issues
• Recommending actions based on your analysis and appraisal * Support and coaching of overseas finance teams

Qualifications: Recognised accounting qualification ACA / CIMA / ACCA

Skills and Experience:

• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• Effective organisation, prioritisation and time management Excellent analysis and problem solving skills
• Excellent PC Skills (MS office), particularly in Excel (use of formulas and pivots etc) Flexible approach, to ensure deadlines are met and overseas support is delivered as required
• Experience of business partnering in a project environment with non-finance stakeholders
• Experience of working in a fast paced dynamic environment
• A proven track record of successful leadership
