The details
One of the world's leading Aviation leasing companies based in Dublin city centre is searching for a Senior Vice President in their Finance team.
This role will provide technical accounting advice and transactional analysis to the business and will require the candidate to have a strong commercial awareness of how your advice will impact.
You will present the Financial Statements for the SPV companies to the Board of Directors and will have serious influence on transactions.
Working with deal teams, you will ensure that all accounting regulations in various jurisdictions are adhered to, while advising the business on proposed transactions.
Additionally to this, you will prepare management accounts for SPV companies and present SPV impairment analysis together with SPV Business Plans.
This is a senior role within the finance function and will offer the successful candidate a fantastic opportunity to work with the Board of Directors and commercial teams of one of the most respected businesses in the industry.
Due to the commercial nature of the role, the ideal candidate will have experience within the aviation/aviation leasing industries or asset management and will have a solid technical accounting background (exposure to IFRS). Exposure to transactional accounting experience under IFRS 10, IAS 18 or IAS 39 is also extremely desirable
