Newly Qualified ACA Evening 2016

On Wednesday 21 September 2016, Marks Sattin hosted our annual ACA Evening at the stunning Grange Hotel, St Paul’s.

Our special guest for the evening was the FTSE 100 group Associated British Foods plc (ABF) which has sales of £12.8bn, 124,000 employees and operations in 48 countries. Its brands include Primark, Twinings, Jordans Ryvita and Silver Spoon.

Newly qualified ACAs had the opportunity to meet the senior finance leadership team of this blue chip company including Peter Foot, Group Finance Director, UK Grocery, and Chris Towers, Head of Finance, Silver Spoon.

Attendees also met graduates from the the group’s highly successful UK Grocery Newly Qualified Finance Scheme. ABF has around 30 newly qualified finance roles across Grocery with opportunity to participate in a ‘Finance Development Programme’ which looks to identify future Finance Directors across the ABF Group.

Finance and HR leadership from across Associated British Foods plc UK Grocery were on hand to chat over drinks and canapés in the Atrium.
