My client are an instantly recognisable business based in North Leeds, who, having just appointed a new CFO are looking to recruit a permanent Commercial Finance Analyst into their finance function. Reporting directly to the FC, this will be a great opportunity for an ambitious, enthusiastic and commercially minded finalist or newly qualified candidate to an extent, create their own role profile in order to have a successful impact on the business as they work towards their 10 year commercial strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for P&L
- Preparation of Board Schedules & Financial Analysis Pack
- Budgeting/Forecasting
- Preparation of long-term planning/reforecasting modelling
- Support commercial teams with budgets/forecasts
- Management Information and Analysis
- Preparation of commercial weekly report
- Detailed performance reporting and analysis
- What-if analysis and scenario modelling
- Use of analysis and modelling to facilitate and contribute to business improvement discussions
- MIS reporting development
- Supporting managers to analyse performance and maximise profitability
Candidate Profile
- Finalist/Newly Qualified
- Business partnering non-finance
- Proven commercial acumen
- Strong MS Excel skills
- Ability to work accurately when under pressure and in meeting tight deadlines
- Good time management
