Role activities / responsibilities

This is a broad finance role, covering all elements of finance and company secretarial work for a small ambitious team.

The Role: Finance Operations

• Credit Control for a small ledger (< 250 Debtors), including matching of the cash.
• Supplier statement reconciliations.
• Daily bank reconciliations for 2 accounts.
• Payment preparation for review by the Financial Controller.
• Reconciliation of a number of nominal ledgers at month end, including, stock, agency fees and rebates.
• Supporting the Financial Controller through month end process to achieve a 6 working day close.
• Supporting the FC and FD on the move from Sage to SAP with ad hoc tasks.
• Preparation of company secretarial returns for by the FC.

You will be:

• Ideally be experienced in working in a varied accounts role.
• Finance Qualifications will be advantageous.
• Highly intelligent and analytical, but with good 'soft' skills;
• Driven and results orientated with a desire to achieve;
• Great attention to detail;
• Good communication skills with the ability to speak to others in the business at all levels;
• Good Microsoft Office skills, in particular with Excel;
• Willing to throw yourself into a varied and busy role;
• Flexible in your approach to managing your workload around busy periods and key deadlines.
