An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Group Finance Manager to join a FTSE listed media business based in Central London. As Group Finance Manager you will be responsible for taking ownership of the preparation of the annual report, financial statements and the half yearly report. You will be managing the monthly consolidation process, the completion of the statutory accounts for all UK entities, review of technical accounting under IFRS, review of monthly balance sheet and cash flow analysis and working closely with the group financial systems manager and enhancing the consolidation process. You will also be required to manage a team of 3 qualified accountants. My client is a highly acquisitive business and so this role will require you to solve technical queries to support transactions. This role requires a fully qualified accountant who has trained at a Big 4 accountancy firm. You must also have experience of working in a group reporting role within a Plc environment. Strong IFRS and UKGAAP experience is also required.
